Holy Island sand dune and shore
This walk goes through the sand dunes to the isolated beaches on the eastern shore of Holy Island. Birds, plants (including the rare Grass of Parnassus), seals, views and local history are all evident. The walk is moderate and at safe crossing times. Everyone is welcome, just turn up in suitable footwear.
Venue: Main car park at Holy Island at village exit.
Time: 10a.m. to 12 noon.
Safe crossing time: 9.30a.m. to 4.45p.m.
Charges: £7. Children under 12 free.
