Northumberland Coast Path Stage 4 – Seahouses to Belford
Wednesday 18th August 2010, Start at Seahouses Tourist Information Centre (NU 218 321)
Distance 16.9km/10.5 miles
Time 5 1/2 hours
This stage offers fantastic views of the Farne Islands, Bamburgh Castle and Budle Bay. A wide range of habitats along the way including farmland, whin grassland and woodland.
Public Transport Start time coincides with the arrival of the Arriva 501 Coast and Castles Connection service from Alnwick and Newcastle. Return to Seahouses on the 15:46 Arriva 501 Coast and Castles Connection service. A 15:32 Arriva 505 Coast and Castles Connection service goes directly to Alnwick, Morpeth and Newcastle.
Free walk, though you will require return bus fare.
