Our Coast, Our Sea - Building model cobles

Throughout our summer season, the Grace Darling Museum are hosting a series of talks by experts on a variety of topics from maritime and natural history to archaeology. Included in the cost of museum admission, these talks will take place at 2pm in the Lantern Room on Sundays, lasting approximately 45 minutes plus time for questions.

Topic: Building model cobles

Speaker: Mr Tony Peereboom

Mini biography: Tony Peereboom has worked in the marine industry all his life. He started out originally as a chandler, progressing on to boat building and finally becoming a rope maker. Tony is also keen member of Beadnell Sailing Club and has a passion for building model boats, having produced several models of the Grace Darling coble.
