Our Coast, Our Sea - Music helping to re-build Hauxley

8 September 2010

Do you have days when you long to be out in the hills or by the coast?

This Saturday, 11th September Ro Matheson will be selling her CD ‘Find a Place to Breathe’ at the Chantry in Morpeth. The CD is purely natural sounds of Northumberland with neither music nor voiceover. It takes you from the moors to the stream, through the forest to the seaside where you can rest with the sound of waves breaking onto the beach.

The sea was recorded at the northern edge of Druridge Bay by Low Hauxley. Ro is hoping that sales of the CD will provide a donation to further the work of Northumberland Wildlife Trust and help in rebuilding the visitor centre at the nature reserve at Hauxley. A matching donation will be given to the Great North Air Ambulance Service to help maintain their work in Northumberland.

The CD is currently on sale at:Tourist Information Centres in Hexham, Berwick and Morpeth Druridge Bay Countryside Park Visitor Centre
