It may be the end of the school holidays but that doesn’t mean you can’t still get out and enjoy the stunning autumn scenery in Northumberland. The Outdoors Northumberland Festival is a collection of events and activities for all ages and abilities, many of which are situated in the Northumberland National Park or along the Northumberland Coast of Outstanding Natural Beauty – so why not take advantage of a beautiful time of year?
With over 60 events, showcasing the very best in outdoor activities provided by the members of Outdoors Northumberland, Northumberland’s outdoor network, the Outdoors Northumberland Festival is an ideal chance to indulge your passion, or try something new.
Running from the 25th of September through to the 17th October, the festival includes a wide range of outdoor activities including: mountain biking; bird and wildlife watching; photography; family cycling; canoeing; horseriding; map and gps courses; wildlife safaris; bushcraft; multi-activity days, and mountain bike and road bike mass participation events.
