Our Coast, Our Sea - Young Rangers improve Quarryfields, Seahouses
17 October 2009
The Young Rangers will improve the site for people and wildlife, and will learn conservation skills as well as management planning, community consultation, project management and teamwork skills. The project is funded by the Local Environmental Action Fund and the eaga Community Fund, both of which are managed by the Community Foundation serving Tyne & Wear and Northumberland.
If you are aged between 13 and 20, are interested in the outdoors and wildlife and live near the coast, why not get involved? The Young Rangers Project is a joint initiative of the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Partnership and the Seahouses Youth Project. For further information on joining the Young Rangers on the Coast contact Shirley Wright at the Seahouses Youth Project on 01665 721960.
